What is Mercedes-Benz Service C?

Mercedes-Benz Service battery testing

A new or recent pre-owned Mercedes-Benz in Orange County or Aliso Viejo will tell you when it’s time for maintenance service, and which service it needs. What does it mean when it’s time for Mercedes-Benz Service C? You probably already know what comes with the more frequent Mercedes-Benz Service A* and B*. Let’s take a look at the Mercedes-Benz C Service checklist. We’ll let you know what work our service department will do and give you some estimates on what to expect from your Mercedes-Benz Service C cost at Mercedes-Benz of Laguna Niguel.

Mercedes-Benz Service C Checklist

Mercedes-Benz Service C includes Synthetic Motor Oil Replacement^, just like Service A and Service B. Here’s the complete Mercedes-Benz Service C checklist:

  • Mercedes-Benz Synthetic Motor Oil Replacement
  • Oil Filter Replacement
  • Windshield wiper blade replacement
  • Fluid level checks & corrections
  • Computer diagnostics to determine which other areas need attention

Service C is generally scheduled once every three years or once every 30,000 miles, but you should always follow the recommendations of your ASSYST Plus tracker. If Service C coincides with your regular annual visit to our service center, additional required services may be taken care of as part of the same appointment.

How Much Does Mercedes-Benz Service C Cost?

Mercedes-Benz Service C costs will vary depending on the recommendations of your ASSYST Plus service tracker and the results of your fluid level checks. However, if you’re located anywhere near San Juan Capistrano, you can always count on a superior selection of Mercedes-Benz service specials at Mercedes-Benz of Laguna Niguel.

Understanding Mercedes-Benz Maintenance Schedule

Your Mercedes-Benz uses an onboard computer in order to perform diagnostic checks and assess the remaining life of your fluids. This computer system — known as ASSYST Plus — will display a wrench on your dashboard whenever it’s time to schedule service.

Those who understand the differences between Service A and Service B will have a very good idea of what to expect from their annual visit. However, the need for additional checks and replacements can be indicated by any of the following:

  • Mercedes-Benz Service C
  • Mercedes-Benz Service D
  • Mercedes-Benz Service E
  • Mercedes-Benz Service F
  • Mercedes-Benz Service G
  • Mercedes-Benz Service H

Just as Mercedes-Benz Service B covers all of the maintenance items included in Service A, along with several additional check-ups, Services C through H expand on your regular maintenance checklist. The services require more time as you move down the list.

When all is said and done, you should plan on scheduling service at least once per year, or roughly once every 10,000 miles. As long as you’re paying regular visits to our service center, you can leave the details to our team of experts.
