  • Tire inflation check and correction
  • Brake component inspection
  • Reset maintenance counter
  • Adhere to all required elements listed by model year and specific model as indicated on the corresponding service sheet for Mercedes-Benz Maintenance Systems in the USA.

Mercedes-Benz Service B Checklist

Mercedes-Benz Service B* is performed at 20,000 miles or 2 years, whichever comes first. Service B includes:

  • Synthetic Motor Oil Replacement**
  • Oil Filter Replacement**
  • All fluid level checks and corrections are dependent on factory-recommended service intervals for your vehicle’s year and model
  • Tire inflation check and correction
  • Brake component inspection
  • Reset maintenance counter
  • Cabin dust/combination filter replacement
  • Brake fluid exchange
  • Adhere to all required elements listed by model year and specific model as indicated on the corresponding service sheet for Mercedes-Benz Maintenance Systems in the USA.

It’s also worth noting that some CLA and GLA AMG® models receive an engine air filter replacement during Service B.

Service A vs. Service B: Spotting the Differences

The primary distinction between Service A and Service B lies in their timing. Service A is suggested after 1 year or 10,000 miles, and Service B after 2 years or 20,000 miles. While the services largely overlap, Service B includes a brake fluid replacement and a cabin air filter replacement.
