2024 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Preview
The Mercedes-Benz E-Class ended the 2023 model year on a high note, with glowing reviews from experts across the industry. Still, if we’ve seen anything from the leading luxury automaker, it’s that the best can always strive to be better. The 6th-generation model offers a forward-looking ethos, tempered by nods to the classic E-Class design.
Here’s what Orange County and Aliso Viejo drivers can expect from the 2024 E-Class executive sedan:
- Hybrid setups for both turbocharged engine options
- All-new technology and amenities, unified by the MBUX Superscreen
- Progressive new exterior styling, reinforcing the connection between legacy and invention

2024 E-Class Exterior Design: Looking Forward
This version of the E-Class is clearly a departure from previous generations, especially with a high-gloss black panel that connects the radiator grille and headlamps for a look that echoes the Mercedes-EQ line. However, avant-garge elements like this are softened by design cues that pay homage to the E-Class of years past.
See below for few of our favorite new E-Class highlights:
- Distinct “cab-backward” design
- Three-dimensionally designed radiator grille
- Eye-brow-shaped daytime running lights
- Flush-fitting door handles
- High-performance two-section LED lights with a new contour
- New star motif design in both headlamp units
2024 E-Class Interior: Customized Like Never Before
Just like the exterior, the interior of the 2024 Class has been redesigned for a sleeker, more seamless look. Mercedes-Benz merged the central display with the MBUX Superscreen, creating a unified glass surface for the dashboard. Technology gets a refresh, too—an all-new artificial intelligence system can learn which comfort systems you prefer and automate those functions so that your cabin is always exactly as you like it.
Take a look at what else is new inside the 2024 E-Class:
- High-resolution instrument cluster display
- Optional front passenger screen
- Available DIGITAL LIGHT visual support for all lighting conditions
- New central onboard computer for faster performance of all infotainment and control functions
- Available Active Ambient Lighting with Sound Visualization to “see” audio and app functions on the light band
- Intelligent blocking concept to ensure the content on the front passenger screen is not visible to the driver while the vehicle is in motion
