The all-new CLA is designed around an 800-volt architecture—built to take advantage of high-power public charging where available, and to make charging at home simple.
• The CLA 250+ and CLA 350 are the first in the electric lineup to feature both a J1772 plug and an NACS charging port for DC fast charging.
• Every CLA comes with a CCS-to-NACS DC fast-charging adapter to support access across the Mercedes-Benz integrated fast-charging network.
• With compatible 800-volt DC fast charging, the CLA can add up to 201 miles in ~10 minutes (WLTP-based) depending on model and conditions.
• For home charging, Mercedes-Benz references the Mercedes-Benz Wallbox for convenient overnight charging.

Can the CLA charge at 400-volt DC stations?
The CLA requires 800-volt DC chargers for fast charging. Compatibility with 400-volt DC chargers will be available only with a factory-equipped converter on CLAs launching in Spring 2026. Vehicles without the converter cannot charge at 400-volt DC chargers.
When will the converter be available?
Mercedes-Benz states the converter option will be available starting in Spring 2026. Check with your dealer for availability.
How do I know if my CLA has the converter?

What’s the difference between the CLA 250+ and the CLA 350 4MATIC®?
The CLA 250+ is rear-wheel drive and range-focused (EPA-est. 374 miles). The CLA 350 is all-wheel drive with stronger acceleration (0–60 mph est. 4.8 sec) and EPA-est. 312 miles range.
