CPO Mercedes-Benz Certification Process
Each Certified Pre-Owned Mercedes-Benz model must pass a rigorous inspection in order to qualify for the program. Learn more about the criteria each vehicle must meet before being sold on our lot.
General
Before the technical inspection begins, a mileage and history verification is performed. The owner's manuals and spare keys are assembled at this time.
Each CPO Mercedes-Benz model's engine will undergo oil and fluid inspections to verify performance. This examination covers the engine, transmission, rear-axle oil, brake, clutch, and level-control fluid (among others).
We will check and approve anything on your vehicle that takes a charge, whether that's the headlamps, fuses, heated seats, radio, or rear-window sunshade.
Once we've completed the road test, we will check for leaks, verify that fluid levels are correct, and finish the inspection of the climate control we began during the road test.
