Three Axial Flux Motors Deliver Extraordinary AMG® Power

At the center of the 2027 Mercedes-AMG® GT 4-Door Coupe is a revolutionary drive concept. The vehicle is the first series-production all-electric model to feature axial flux motor technology, with two motors at the rear axle and one at the front. This compact, high-output motor layout supports exceptional continuous power, fast response, and highly variable torque distribution through AMG® Performance 4MATIC®+ all-wheel drive.

In the Mercedes-AMG® GT 63 4-Door Coupe, system output reaches up to 1,153 hp and 1,475 lb-ft of torque. The Mercedes-AMG® GT 55 4-Door Coupe delivers 805 hp, bringing the same advanced three-motor layout to the model expected to arrive first at U.S. retailers.

AMG® High Performance Electric Battery and 600 kW Charging Capability

The 2027 Mercedes-AMG® GT 4-Door Coupe introduces an AMG® High Performance Electric Battery developed with performance lessons from Formula 1 and Mercedes-AMG® High Performance Powertrains. Its 800-volt architecture, directly cooled cylindrical cells, and advanced thermal management are designed to support strong repeatable output, consistent performance, and exceptional charging capability.

At compatible charging infrastructure, the new Mercedes-AMG® GT 4-Door Coupe can reach a peak charging capacity of more than 600 kW. Under optimal conditions, approximately 460 kilometers of WLTP range can be added in as little as 10 minutes, while 10 to 80 percent State of Charge can take as little as 11 minutes. This technology positions the all-new Mercedes-AMG® GT 4-Door Coupe for the next generation of high-power charging.

AMG®FORCE Sport+ Brings V8 Character to an All-Electric Driving Experience

The all-new Mercedes-AMG® GT 4-Door Coupe is engineered to feel unmistakably AMG®. With AMG®FORCE Sport+, the vehicle delivers a signature AMG® V8-inspired soundscape paired with haptic feedback and simulated gear changes. AMG® Performance 4MATIC®+ fully variable all-wheel drive distributes torque between the front and rear axles, while torque vectoring sends power precisely between the rear wheels. Available AMG® ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL with active roll stabilization further expands the balance between sports car precision and grand touring comfort.

Active Aerodynamics Shape Performance and Efficiency

The Mercedes-AMG® GT 4-Door Coupe introduces advanced AEROKINETICS technology designed to optimize aerodynamic balance. Available Venturi Flow elements in the underbody can deploy to increase downforce, while an available active rear diffuser and a standard retractable rear spoiler help adapt the vehicle to changing performance demands.

The AEROKINETICS Airpanel system uses electronically controlled louvers behind the front air intakes to manage cooling airflow. By opening only when certain components require additional cooling, the system supports both aerodynamic efficiency and high performance thermal control.

Expressive Exterior Design With a Driver-Focused Interior

The exterior design of the 2027 Mercedes-AMG® GT 4-Door Coupe communicates performance from every angle. A dramatic fastback silhouette, long hood, steeply raked windshield, muscular rear shoulders, flush-fitting door handles, available illuminated AMG®-specific grille, and six circular taillights with star graphics create a distinctive AMG® presence.

Inside, the cockpit is built around the driver. A 10.2-inch driver display and 14-inch central multimedia display form a wide, driver-oriented digital interface, while a 14-inch front passenger display is standard. The 2027 Mercedes-AMG® GT 4-Door Coupe is expected to arrive at U.S. retailers beginning later in 2026 with the Mercedes-AMG® GT 55 4-Door Coupe.
