Note: These instructions do not apply to the Mercedes-Benz EQB.
Mercedes me Charge, the Mercedes-Benz charging network, makes your electric vehicle ownership experience as it should be: convenient and efficient. Several different charging point operators (CPOs), including ChargePoint, EVgo, and Electrify America, have joined this network, granting you access to over 60,000 public charging stations nationwide.
Planning your trips past San Juan Capistrano will be easier thanks to the Mercedes-Benz Electric Intelligence service, which automaticallyoptimizes your route to include designated times to stop and charge. You can even reserve a spot ahead of time to avoid waiting for a vacant charging station.

It’s going to take some time to build the Mercedes-Benz High-Power Charging Network, so Tesla is stepping in to help. Because even though the Los Angeles area has more charging stations than any other U.S. city, we need even more to increase how many drivers can switch to emission-free vehicles. In 2024, Mercedes-Benz EV drivers can use the Tesla Supercharger network. This network includes over 12,000 charging stations. They’ll be easy to find, too, because they’ll be accessible in Mercedes me Charge, which already lists over 90,000 charging points. Finding the best route to a Tesla Supercharger will be easy because they’ll also be in Navigation with Electric Intelligence.
In a groundbreaking move, seven of the world’s leading automakers – BMW Group, General Motors, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Mercedes-Benz Group, and Stellantis NV – are joining forces to accelerate the transition to electric vehicles (EVs) in North America. The aim is to make EV charging more convenient, accessible, and reliable for millions of customers.
As part of this joint venture, an ambitious plan is underway to develop a new, high-powered charging network, boasting at least 30,000 chargers. This infrastructure will make zero-emission driving even more appealing for EV drivers across the continent.
